Harman Professional Appoints Aaron Simon Director of Licensed Products

Harman Professional has appointed Aaron Simon to the position of director of licensed products. Simon will be responsible for spearheading an ongoing range of new and existing initiatives specifically designed as part of a strategic music artist endorsement program, providing top multimedia offerings within the Harman product and technology portfolio. He will report to executive vice president of marketing and sales, Michael MacDonald.

Prior to joining Harman Professional, Simon led the strategic marketing, partnerships, and promotions department at Disney Music Group. Simon was responsible for overseeing partnership and promotions for major performers including Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, and Selena Gomez.

Simon also worked with record companies such as Jive Records (Sony/BMG), Atlantic Records (Warner Music Group) and Virgin Records (EMI), where he was responsible for marketing strategies for chart-topping artists such as Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Janet Jackson, and the Rolling Stones. Simon also handled artist management for major Latin music artists and produced the 2007 U.S. Latin tour of the year.

"I could not be more thrilled to be part of the Harman team," stated Simon. "Working with so many legendary brands is such a unique and wonderful opportunity. Alongside our music artist strategic endorsement initiative, I'm eager to play my part in continuing Harman's worldwide success in changing the way people experience superior audio."
