Outsight to Launch Creamsource Micro Colour LED at CineGear 2018

At Cine Gear 2018, Outsight, the advanced lighting technology company, will present the newest member of its acclaimed Creamsource family: the Micro Colour LED luminaire.

Fitting into almost the same platform as the Creamsource Micro bi-color, the Creamsource Micro Colour features calibrated red, green, blue, and white LEDs (RGBW) -- so, as well as producing beautiful white light in any CCT from 2,200K to 15,000K, it also has green/magenta adjustment and can produce vivid, saturated colors. The LED engine has been specially crafted to provide exceptional white light color quality, with typical CRI and TLCI values above 95. The Micro Colour has a 20-degree beam angle for maximum punch, fan-free cooling for silent operation, and is water resistant so it can be used in all weather (IP65 rated). It is lightweight yet rugged, quick to rig and derig, and its compact form factor means it can squeeze into small spaces on set and take up minimal room when in storage.

The Micro Colour is available for immediate pre-order, with the first units scheduled to ship in July 2018. Pricing starts at US$1,295 for head and powersupply only, or US$1,495 including additionally the yoke, powersupply mount, and one lens.

The Micro Colour, together with other products from the Creamsource family, will be available for demonstration by The Rag Place (booth 30) at Cine Gear 2018, held at Paramount Studios, Los Angeles, California, from June 1 - 2, 2018.
