Renkus-Heinz to Exhibit at WFX Renkus-Heinz will once again be a presence at the upcoming WFX Show, held on Wednesday, October 1 and Thursday, October 2 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. The Renkus-Heinz team will be found at booth #623 in Hall F. On display will the award-winning VARIAi modular point source line array, as well as an active demonstration of the Iconyx Experience with the IC16-R-II digitally steered line array system. Iconyx digital beam steering can direct sound only where it's needed, while keeping it away from walls and other reflective surfaces, the company says. Next door in Hall D, Renkus-Heinz will also be participating in the Live Sound International Loudspeaker Demo, where attendees can listen to and compare more than a dozen compact line array systems in a single, controlled environment. They will be demoing IC2, which combines the advantages of point source design with the control and flexibility of digitally steered array technology, the company says. Four IC2 arrays will be flown in Booth K, along with four ground stacked IC118S-R subwoofers. Multiple one-hour comparison demo sessions will be held each day, with listeners moving from system to system evaluating identical tracks. Demos will be held on Oct 1 at 10:15 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., and on Oct 2 at 10:20 a.m., 1:25 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Exclusive Renkus-Heinz demos will also be held at 12:10 p.m. on the 1st and 2:30 p.m. on the 2nd. Renkus-Heinz will also be sponsoring the WFX Kick Off Party, with an IC Live steerable array system providing the sound at the Aloft Hotel on Tuesday evening, September 30. On hand at the show will be Renkus-Heinz VP of sales and marketing Rik Kirby, marketing manager Margie Ulm, western regional sales manager Ladd Temple, and newly appointed president Roscoe Anthony. Visitors can stop by the WFX booth and pick up a complimentary copy of the new Renkus-Heinz HOW Applications book, a comprehensive showcase of installations worldwide ranging from portable churches to massive cathedrals. Visitors can also grab an entry ticket to win an iPad Mini, and drop it off at the LSI Loudspeaker Demo next door for their chance to win. "WFX has always been a great show for us, and we're looking forward to it again this year," says Kirby. "It's a great opportunity to get quality one-on-one time with professionals in worship audio and technology, to get insight on what they're looking for, and to show them what Renkus-Heinz has to offer."
