Atlona Partners With AVProAlliance.com

Atlona, a leading digital connectivity solutions provider, announces the appointment of AVProAlliance.com, an expert service group led by experienced AV professionals, as a national distributor for its full line of connectivity products including the company's latest HDBaseT matrix switchers and extenders. AVProAlliance.com will also support Atlona as it targets the residential custom integrator markets and video collaboration businesses. In addition, the two companies will co-present a session with Quantum Data during the AVPro Advanced Fundamentals in Audio and Video training tour.

Staffed with professional sales engineers with over 100 years of combined experience, AVProAlliance.com supports professional AV integrators with unique products for testing and integration of AV components including video generators, color analyzers, acoustic analyzers, and signal processors. The company also coordinates trainings for the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) and Home Acoustics Alliance (HAA) and provides service and information to more than 10,000 certified integrators via newsletters, blogs, and the group's unique "Ask a Pro" service

"With its knowledge, experience, and work ethic, AVProAlliance.com has become a premier player in the provision of AV-related services and expertise," said Joel Silver, founder of the Imaging Science Foundation. "We have worked exclusively with the group for the past 15 years in support of ISF Certification programs and can attest to its high standard for quality and excellence. AVProAlliance.com is perfectly suited for a partnership with Atlona."

AVProAlliance.com will carry Atlona's entire range connectivity products, including its latest HDBaseT matrix switchers and extenders, which reliably route inputs to outputs to enable users to view several sources simultaneously. The devices also facilitate multi-room distribution by allowing for easy customization, while Power over Category cable (PoCc) connectivity further simplifies installation processes. The companies will discuss Atlona's latest technology in joint training sessions titled "Extending, Splitting, and Connecting in the Digital Age" starting May 14 in Kitchener, Ontario, then visit various locations in the United States, ending on August 6 in Seattle, Washington. Topics will include HDMI, EDID, HDCP, and integration methods for long-distance deployments at multiple points.

"Our new partnership with AVProAlliance.com will bring more value to our continuously expanding network of distributors, allow us to reach new integrators, and provide higher levels of service in new areas," said Mike Grubb, senior sales manager, Atlona America. "The collaboration will also enable us to create engaging training sessions and develop product introduction initiatives that give Atlona a more strategic approach towards the integration channel. This will ultimately lead to better service for our customer base and enhanced information on how our products can be applied to the industry's most demanding digital connectivity requirements."
