Industry Veteran Helen Willard Joins the PLASA Team

PLASA announces that industry veteran Helen Willard has joined PLASA as an events sales executive working with the North American team on the new PLASA Focus NA regional events. This year, PLASA launched PLASA Focus: Austin in February, followed by PLASA Focus: Nashville in July. PLASA Focus: Stamford will be held November 12 and 13 at the Stamford Marriott Hotel in Stamford, Connecticut for the New York and tri-state region.

Previously, Willard was the Stage Expo sales manager for USITT for over 15 years and worked for Colgate University before that as a development officer. Said PLASA CEO Matthew Griffiths: "PLASA is pleased to have someone of Helen's caliber join the PLASA team and to help us grow our regional events in North America." PLASA director of media, sales, and marketing Jackie Tien added: "I have known Helen for many years as a respected industry peer and friend and am so pleased she has joined the PLASA family!"
