ETC Sponsors 2014 Stage Lighting Super SaturdayStage Lighting Super Saturday announces ETC (Electronic Theatre Controls) will provide the 2014 Stage Lighting Super Saturday lunch for the event. With this support, Stage Lighting Super Saturday is able to fund several student scholarships. ETC says it has integrated into its corporate philosophy the fostering of young talent in the lighting industry, and supporting Stage Lighting on Super Saturday is one way the company is able to do that. This annual seminar is designed for everyone involved in stage, architectural, or entertainment lighting. The sessions are not too basic nor too advanced. Everyone who attends will benefit. The intense all day seminar will be led by theatre lighting professionals leading sessions about inspiration, training, product, and just doing it. A dozen theater lighting professionals, including Tony Award recipient Jennifer Tipton will speak and approximately 20 industry lighting manufacturers will be on hand with technical personnel and equipment to demonstrate. The tentative program includes inspiration, fixtures, color, consoles, moving lights, trouble shooting, CAD, paperwork, and other subjects.
