Elation Unveils EPV762 MHHigh-Res LED Moving Head Video Panel Elation Professional has introduced an indoor LED video panel that, the company says, can move like no other. The new EPV762 MH is a high-resolution 7.62mm pitch moving head video panel that can rotate just like a moving yoke light fixture, panning a full 540°, and tilting up to 265°. The EPV762 MH's sweeping motion gives video displays maximum exposure at shows and events, since the screen is viewable from all sides and every angle. Equipped with 4,096 tri-color (red, green, blue) SMD LEDs and featuring 2,000-nit brightness, this versatile screen will create eye-popping high-res videos, graphics, text messages, special effects, or any other images you wish to display -- and "broadcast" them around the room with its smooth pan/tilt motion. Part of the company's new Elation Pro Video Series, the EPV762 MH panel was developed to give stage, lighting, and event designers an innovative LED video tool, said Eric Loader, director of sales for Elation Professional. "There are many productions, events and other design applications that would benefit from having a 'moving' video screen that can be viewed from different angles," said Loader. "The EPV762 MH has a full range of motion, just like a moving head light, while offering all the features of a professional LED video panel. As LED video screens become more widely used, I think we will see them evolving toward having more specialized capabilities. With its pan-tilt ability, the EPV762 MH is at the forefront of this trend." The square-shaped panel measures 19.2" x 19.2" and weighs 53 lbs. It features 16-bit processing and a 2,000Hz refresh rate. In keeping with Elation's commitment to addressing end-users' needs, the EPV762 MH was designed to be extremely easy to set up and operate. Each panel is equipped with Ethercon input/output for the video signal, as well as Powercon in/out for power link. Additionally, each panel includes its own built-in 100-240V psu. The EPV 762 MH also features both three-pin and five-pin DMX inputs for pan/tilt control, as well as a pan-tilt lock. The EPV762 MH was designed for use with Elation EPV VSC or EPV Image VSC Video processors (sold separately). The energy-efficient panel consumes just 350 watts of electricity maximum (230W average).
