Product Debuts for Elation Professional at InfoComm 2014

Elation Professional invites visitors to booth C5446 at InfoComm 2014 in Las Vegas for the debut of several new products including the world premiere of the new EMAG 4 Pro, a 4.8mm pixel pitch LED video panel optimized for the high-pace setup / tear down frequency of on-the-road productions. Also featuring in Elation's growing line of LED video displays will be the EPT9IP, an ultra-bright 9mm pixel pitch LED panel that the company says ticks all the boxes for a professional LED display.

Debuting on US soil at the Las Vegas Convention Center June 18 - 20 are three new luminaires in Elation's popular Platinum range of professional moving heads -- the Platinum BX, Platinum SBX, and Platinum Profile LED -- two discharge lamp-based and one LED-based. Other Platinum range fixtures on display will be the Platinum Wash 16R Pro, a flexible feature-packed luminaire that can be used as both a wash and beam, and the Platinum Profile 35 Pro, a full-featured professional fixture with internal framing.

Elation will also be showing the new SixPar Series of indoor and outdoor PAR color changers featuring revolutionary six-color LED multi-chip technology. In addition, visitors can demo the HedgeHog 4N, the newest and smallest member of the Hog family of consoles.

EMAG 4 Pro -- Designed for the demanding production market, the new EMAG 4 Pro is a durable, 4.8mm pixel pitch LED video panel ideal when outstanding high-definition image quality is required for on-the-road productions. Built of rugged die cast aluminum, tool-less quick locks and a magnetic module design make the EMAG 4 Pro easy to assemble and disassemble. Colors display vivid and consistent and a brightness level of 1,200 nits means the EMAG 4 Pro performs well even in high ambient lighting conditions.

EPT9IP -- Featuring outstanding image quality, the EPT9IP is an ultra-bright 9mm pixel pitch LED panel with 4,096 three-in-one LED pixels per panel (64 x 64) that ticks all the boxes for a professional LED display. It incorporates the latest dot correction technology for superior color and brightness uniformity and delivers an impressive 5,000 nits of brightness, more than sufficient for any indoor use and bright enough for virtually any outdoor application. Integrated curving options from -15-degrees to +15-degrees allow designers to create a variety of seamless curved video displays.

Platinum SBX -- The new Platinum SBX is an innovative full-featured three-in-one luminaire which can be utilized as a beam, spot, or wash fixture. This compact fixture combines new lamp technology from a Philips MSD Platinum 17RA 350W lamp with a new optical system for a flat field of light and kicks out 20,000 lumens of power, comparable to 700W fixtures and extremely energy efficient. It also features a zoom, 13 dichroic colors including UV, CTO and CTB, plus nine rotating interchangeable gobos and 14 fixed gobos. A beam shaper, rotating eight-facet prism, and frost filter are also included.

Platinum BX Pro -- The new Platinum BX is a compact beam luminaire that combines new lamp technology from a Philips MSD Platinum 17RA 350W lamp with a new optical system to kick out over 15,000 lumens of power. The Platinum BX is fast and delivers extreme output along a tight 2.5-degree beam at four times the level of previous beam models. It also features 11 dichroic colors including UV, CTO and CTB, along with 13 fixed indexing gobos. A rotating eight-facet prism and frost filter are also included.

Platinum Profile LED -- The Platinum Profile LED is a full-featured professional LED profile lighting fixture with flexible four-blade rotating framing system. It uses a new high-performance 180W LED engine for an output that is comparable to a 575W discharge lamp. Beam angle is 18-degrees and the fixture offers seven dichroic colors including UV, seven rotating interchangeable gobos, and seven fixed gobos. A three-facet rotating prism and frost filter are also included.

Platinum Wash 16R Pro -- Featuring the new 1,500-hour Platinum MSD 16R lamp from Philips (330W, 16,000 lumens), this versatile moving head functions as both a beam and wash luminaire. It is loaded with features such as CMY color mixing plus fixed colors, 6.5- to 48-degree motorized zoom, beam shaper, shutter/dimmer and has an EWDMX receiver built in. Compact, output is comparable to 1,000W units but in a smaller, more energy efficient design.

Platinum Profile 35 Pro -- The Platinum Profile 35 Pro is a full-featured professional lighting fixture with flexible framing system. Powered by the new Platinum 35 MSR lamp from Philips (800W), this moving head profile features a rotating four-blade framing system that allows for full control of the beam shape and delivers an output comparable to 1,200W moving head profile MSR fixtures. Features include a high-quality optical system, 8- to 50-degree motorized zoom, CMY color mixing with variable CTO, color wheel, two gobo wheels plus 160-degree animation effect, and more.

SixPar Series -- Elation's new SixPar Series of indoor and outdoor PAR color changers features a six-color LED multi-chip that provides an expanded palette of colors, including ambers, whites, and even ultraviolet. Useful for production applications or installations as a wash light, uplight, wall wash, truss warmer, and more, the SixPar's single lens RGBWA+UV LEDs provide a creative color boost to the lighting designer toolbox. It is available in four versions -- SixPar 100 (indoor), SixPar 100IP, SixPar 200IP, and SixPar 300IP, with 7 x, 7 x, 12 x, and 18 x 12W LEDs respectively.

HedgeHog 4 -- Elation is proud to distribute the High End Systems HedgeHog 4N, the newest and smallest member of the Hog family of consoles. With added HogNet port for network linking of consoles and expansion, and featuring the familiar programming, interface and user-friendly ergonomic control surface, the HedgeHog 4 is a powerful, self-contained lighting controller with a built-in computer running Hog 4 OS software. The HedgeHog 4N has a 12.1 touchscreen interface, two onboard DMX and four Art-Net universes, ten Playback Faders, and many other outstanding features.
