PreSonus Offers Third Annual PreSonuSphere 2013 User ConferenceFrom Thursday evening, October 24 through Saturday, October 26, 2013, PreSonus plans PreSonuSphere 2013, the company's third annual user conference. The company says one- and two-day passes will be available at very low prices. Held at the Manship Theatre in historic downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and featuring seminars by well-known experts, the conference will present in-depth tips and techniques for PreSonus' StudioLive-series digital mixers, Studio One 2 DAW, StudioLive AI-series Active Integration PA speakers, and ADL-series preamps and channel strips. Top professionals will show participants how they do their live-sound and recording magic using PreSonus products, and the company notes especially popular topics will be repeated so that one- and two-day attendees won't miss out. This year's presenters will include author and editor Craig Anderton, front-of-house engineer John Mills, Fulcrum Acoustic speaker-designer Dave Gunness, studio designer John Storyk, Audio-Technica mic specialist Steve Savanyu, home-recording specialist Joe Gilder, Chris Tsanjoures from Rational Acoustics (Smaart), and multi-instrumentalist, composer, and writer Justin Lassen. The company hinted "that a world-class producer or two might teach a few seminars, as well" -- with more info to come soon. Back by popular demand will be the hands-on Studio One 2 / StudioLive "Genius Bar" where attendees can get meaningful answers to their thorniest Studio One and StudioLive questions. Last year, more than 480 attendees from Europe, South America, and the United States gathered at the Manship Theatre for the second PreSonuSphere conference. The two-day conference kicked off with a party that featured show-stopping performances by Louisiana bands, a jam session, and the PreSonus staff's traditional home-style jambalaya feast. During the next two days, attendees learned from a variety of music-industry luminaries, exchanged tips and ideas, greeted old friends, and made new ones. Between seminars, they strolled the beautiful downtown Baton Rouge riverfront area and enjoyed the local restaurants and coffee shops. And in the evenings, they were treated to two concerts. PreSonuSphere 2013 kicks off with the ever-popular jambalaya feast on Thursday evening, along with a free concert featuring the Louisiana-flavored music of L'Angelus. On Friday morning, the main event gets rolling with the first seminars. Friday evening features a free concert by Louisiana pop band Royal Teeth. And after the final seminar on Saturday, the attendees will gather for the optional PreSonuSchmooze dinner. For more information, and to get tickets, please visit the URL below.
