Avid's Pro Tools Flex Subscription Offering for Audio Post and Music Facilities Renamed as Pro Tools Ultimate

In response to input from users across the creative community, Avid announces that its Pro Tools Flex subscription offering for professional audio post and music production facilities has been renamed as Pro Tools Ultimate.

Pro Tools Ultimate retains all of its powerful capabilities and is now available at a substantially reduced subscription price of $599 annually -- enabling more users to take advantage of its sound for picture workflows, HDX and HD Native system support, and unprecedented performance for challenging and complex projects. Pricing has not changed for monthly licenses at $99, nor for one-year educational licenses at $299.
