Philips Vari-Lite to Showcase Latest Range of Spot Luminaires at ABTT 2012 in East LondonThe ABTT Theatre Show, now in its 34th year, will open from June 13-4th June, for the first time in its new home -- The Old Truman Brewery, London. The team from Philips Vari-Lite, manufacturers of automated lighting fixtures, will be on hand to show off the recently launched range of spot and LED Luminaires and to catch up with end-users and dealers. The ABTT Theatre Show is promising to attract its biggest crowd yet and the Philips Vari-Lite team will showcase the latest 1500W platform of spot luminaires, launched earlier this year in Frankfurt at Prolight + Sound. They include the VL3015 and the VL3015LT, as well as the VL3515 spot luminaire. With the VL3015 and VL3515 luminaires, Philips Vari-Lite has substantially increased light output while maintaining the popular features of existing Vari-Lite fixtures. "The VL3015, VL3015LT, and VL3515 spot luminaires each use an OSRAM 1500W short arc lamp," explains David March, director, European sales for Philips Vari-Lite. "The VL3015LT, Vari-Lite's first luminaire developed specifically for long throw applications, also features incredible 10:1 zoom optics." Also on display will be Vari-Lite's well known VLX Series, the latest generation of solid-state lighting offering all the benefits of LED technology in tandem with the best visual performance characteristics of traditional automated luminaires. VLX offers stunning colors and intensity, multi-year source life, and high reliability, the company says. Combined with low energy consumption and maintenance costs, the VLX and VLX3 luminaires reset the bar for professional LED fixtures. However, it's not just about the products. While visitors will get a chance for an up close look at the latest technology, many will come to link directly with manufacturer representatives. March sees the ABTT show as an important platform for connecting with industry professionals. "The ABTT Theatre Show is an excellent opportunity for us to meet face-to-face with the end-users of our products. It's also a great way for us to feel the pulse of the industry, particularly in the London market. We're very excited and look forward to an amazing turn out."
