Gig Gear's New Cam-A-Lot Dual-Sided Video Conferencing Screen Features Wide Screen ShapeGig Gear LLC -- manufacturer of accessories designed for AV techs and live entertainment production professionals -- has released its Cam-A-Lot, a dual-sided video conferencing screen that provides a clean background for gamers live streaming, teachers and students engaged in remote learning, or anyone taking video calls from home. The dual-sided screen features a white background for a clean look on one side while the opposite side features a green screen that can be used to project a virtual background. Dual-plied fabric on the screen eliminates almost all light from bleeding through. "While live streaming or distance learning, there can be many distractions in the background, whether that's a family member walking into the frame or just an unkempt room," says Danny Shatzkes, founder of Gig Gear. The screen's shape allows for a wider top located right at the user's "head height," allowing for complete coverage in the sweet spot of the camera's view, while tapering towards the bottom. This makes the screen's form factor slimmer, thus helping it avoid knocking into objects around it. The Cam-A-Lot also features a X-strap design which provides secure mounting and greater adjustability for height placement while making it possible for the screen to be mounted on practically any chair back, even irregularly shaped chairs. The Cam-A-Lot is 57 inches in diameter. When not in use, it collapses and folds down to a compact 22-inch diameter and can then be packaged in an included tote bag, making it a portable solution so users can have a clean background wherever they may be working.
