Mackie Announces New Line of Professional In-Ear MonitorsMackie today announces for the first time a complete line of high performance in-ear monitors -- MP Series Professional In-Ear Monitors. Available in three models, the MP-120, MP-220, and MP-240, the MP Series delivers the great sound and Mackie's build quality in a whole new way to performers. "From loudspeakers to mixers and everything between, we have decades of experience creating gear for the stage," says Matt Herrin, Mackie product manager. "We were excited to draw on that experience for the creation of these new in-ear monitors." MP Series Professional In-Ear Monitors are the result of Mackie's commitment to helping artists sound their best. The MP Series is available in three models, the single dynamic driver MP-120, dual dynamic driver MP-220, and dual hybrid driver MP-240. Each model has been meticulously tuned to offer incredible clarity, bass, and headroom that surpass in-ear monitors costing much more. All models feature ergonomically molded enclosures with three different types of ear tips included for maximum comfort. The detachable, audiophile-grade cables are shielded and internally-braided and are equipped with MMCX connectors for easy wearing and flexibility. The MP-120 features a single large dynamic driver that offers balanced sound with plenty of low end and clarity. The MP-220 steps up the configuration to dual dynamic drivers for tighter bass response and enhanced detail in the mids and highs. The MP-240 utilizes a dynamic driver plus a balanced armature driver for the best of both worlds -- the punchy, accurate bass of a dynamic driver and the revealing clarity of a balanced armature driver. "The new MP Series continues to take everyone that hears them by surprise," remarks Herrin. "And for good reason, they sound incredible." The Mackie MP Series Professional In-Ear Monitors include the MP-120, MP-220, and MP-240, and are available worldwide beginning February 1, 2018. Visit Mackie at the 2018 Winter NAMM Show in their new location upstairs in Demo Room 201C/D, in the Anaheim Convention Center, February 25 - 28.
