Latest Theatre-Optimized Lighting from Elation to Show at USITT 2015

Theatre professionals will soon be gathering for the 2015 USITT show, one of North America's most important conference and expo for performing arts technology, where Elation Professional will be showing the latest in its line of theatre-optimized lighting.

Join Elation March 18 - 21 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, where the company will be showing theatre professionals a variety of innovative design options from discharge to LED, full color to white light. The company says all are welcome to booth 1713 for an up close look at the DW Series of dynamic white LED luminaires; the full color Colour 5 Profile ellipsoidal spot; and the WW Profile ellipsoidal with warm white LED engine. Other solutions in Elation's broad portfolio of lighting and control products will also be on display.

DW Fresnel and DW Profile: The company says the DW Fresnel and DW Profile are excellent choices when variable white light is required in broadcast or theatre environments. Their soft, flicker-free output is easily adjustable from warm white tungsten to cool white daylight, and beam control via zoom and beam framing/shaping make them highly effective directional white light luminaires. Powered by a 250W, long-life white LED engine, these pro-level products feature low-noise cooling for operation in noise sensitive environments and are optimized to give the finest in variable white light.

Colour 5 Profile: The Colour 5 Profile is an ellipsoidal spot with 180W five-color LED engine (RGBAW) that emits a superior quality of light (CRI over 94). It is an excellent choice when variable colored light is required in broadcast or theatre environments. The Colour 5 Profile emits 4,100 lumens of power with interchangeable lens options of 19-degree, 26-degree, 36-degree, and 50-degree sold separately. It includes a four-blade manual framing system and supports B-size metal or HT transparency gobos for custom gobo projections. The Colour 5 Profile includes a DMX-controlled electronic strobe, full range dimming, and a selection of variable dimming curves.

WW Profile: The WW Profile is an ellipsoidal spot that projects a soft, warm white light that is ideal when illuminating speakers, highlighting performers, or emphasizing on-stage scenery. Powered by a 130W warm white LED engine, this pro-level product gives an output of 6,700 lumens with a CRI over 94 and an energy consumption that is more efficient than traditional warm white luminaires. Interchangeable lens options of 19-degree, 26-degree, 36-degree, and 50-degree (sold separately) make it a highly effective directional white light luminaire. Manual focus and a four-blade framing system allow for full control of the beam shape for more precise illumination with less light spill.
