Governor's Ball Festival Lit Up by Bandit LitesRainy weather couldn't keep avid audiences away from New York City's annual music festival where Kings of Leon, Pretty Lights, Feist, and The Avett Brothers took the stage under Bandit Lites' lights for those faithful fans that braved the rain and subsequent mud in their quest to rock. The three-day music festival produced by Founders Entertainment started on June 7 on Randall's Island. With artists hailing from multiple genres of music, including rock, hip-hop, electronica, folk and indie, the event also features a Silent Disco and New York City's famous food trucks. Aaron Swetland, Sam Morgan, Teresa Porterfield, and Andrew Hunt worked tirelessly amidst the rain and mud to provide lighting to the throbbing beats of DJs and rock stars. "Working together again with such professionals as Anne Kallevig, Paul Dalen, Joe Gordon, and Steve Drymalski is always a pleasure. Even when they're knee deep in mud, literally, they always have time for you, and get the job done" said Dizzy Gosnell, client rep and overall coordinator for Bandits involvement in this festival. Equipment used included VL 2500 Spots, Thomas Ground Cyc Fixtures, Bandit Lites' GRN 8 Lite, GRN PARs and GRN Moving Washes, in addition to Grand MA 1 full consoles.
