With an award-winning staff of veteran designers, architects, and creative artists, The Hettema Group creates stellar immersive experiences fueled by the power of storytelling. Recent projects include showcase attractions for theme parks, major museums, visitor centers, world expos, and resort destinations. "We're delighted Lisa has joined our team as we celebrate our 10th anniversary," said Phil Hettema, president and creative executive, The Hettema Group. "She has an impressive track record in the industry, and will be a tour de force ensuring the continued growth of our company, strengthening client relations, and overseeing strategic marketing efforts." Previously, Welch served as a producer for Walt Disney Imagineering R&D, where she was responsible for producing new in-park role playing experiences and online/mobile projects for Walt Disney World. As director of marketing for Hyper Entertainment, in both London and Los Angeles offices, Welch created and implemented sponsorship strategies, marketing, and business development for a variety of international projects including Capitol Records, FerrariWorld Abu Dhabi, Abbey Road Studios, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and more. Welch also held management positions with Vertex Productions, Sony Corporation of America, and Iwerks Entertainment. "This is an exciting time to be joining The Hettema Group. Welch received a B.A. degree in theater arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
