Macau Tower Sky Jump Installs One Systems Speakers Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Center in Macau has added to its Macau Tower Sky Jump a new sound system using One Systems speakers. One Systems distributor, Sound Classy of Hong Kong, supplied and designed the layout, and Sound & Lighting Service Centre, of Macau, executed the installation. Macau Tower provides visitors with panoramic city views, various restaurants, theatres, and more. For the adrenaline-seeking, tourist the tower offers various adventures including a mast jump, bungee jump, sky jump, and a skywalk around the outer rim of the tower. The ever-popular Sky Jump allows guests to jump 764' from the tower ,making it one of the world's highest tethered descents. The installation includes One Systems' 112UM and 212Sub-W models. The One Systems speakers are installed on the Level 61 observation deck surrounding the sky jump booth. The 112UM speakers are ceiling mounted with custom One Systems brackets and the 212Sub-Ws are fixed to the floor. Macau Tower's Sky Jump had been using its outdated voice only sound reinforcement system for years and tapped Sound Classy replace it. Sky Jump officials were looking for a powerful, intelligible, yet affordable, system to stimulate guest emotions during their jump experience. Chris Fung of Sound Classy explains, "These speakers really needed to have the power to cut through the ambient noises atop the tower in order to drive the emotion and energy the guests need before they take the jump. Our client wanted their customers to have a visual, physical and audio experience like never before." "One Systems' range of models delivers impressive output and have very versatile mounting options which were able to provide outstanding coverage to this unique tourist attraction, Macau Tower Sky Jump," says Doug MacCallum, president of One Systems.
