Neutrik USA Support of the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus on Warped Tour 2013 Keeps the Music Rockin'This summer it was all about making the creative connection between young musicians, multimedia production, and live performance on the Vans Warped Tour. For 16 years in a row, the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus has offered fans across the nation the chance to experience this high energy music extravaganza in a whole new way. As the world's greatest non-profit professional mobile recording studio, it was only natural for the manufacturer of connectivity solutions, Neutrik, to fully support this time on the road. The John Lennon Tour Bus is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that has traveled across the US and Canada for the past 16 years serving as a living legacy to John Lennon, providing emerging musicians and young people the opportunity to a first-hand music and video education at no cost. The Vans Warped Tour is the nation's leading touring music festival focused on presenting the creative efforts of emerging artists. The Lennon Bus made stops along the west coast including Seattle Washington; Portland, Oregon; the San Francisco, California, Bay area; and southern California. The Neutrik name was a prominent part of the entire tour's promotion encompassing print, online, and the second annual AP Cover Stars Live Chats. The live stream events were hosted by Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman, and brought the action of the festival to countless music fans across the world. Attendees were encouraged to download the official free Neutrik branded Lennon Bus app to tweet their questions to their favorite cover stars and have them answered live. Eight different bands took part in the Q&A, including Kellin Quinn of Sleeping with Sirens, Christopher Drew of NeverShoutNever, and Dan Campbell of The Wonder Years. The John Lennon Songwriting Contest's Vans Warped Tour prize was presented by Neutrik USA to The Royal (http://www.facebook.com/wearetheroyal), who had the chance to experience a week on the road in California, complete with an exclusive "Lennon Bus Live" session, and the opportunity to connect the Milwaukee, Wisconsin natives to their fans through the power of live music. The band's addictive melodies, aggressive beats, and fat synth lines proved extremely popular -- as did the Neutrik concert swag that was distributed at the shows. The Neutrik VIP "Fan Connection" gave unforgettable experiences to concert goers by providing backstage access on the Lennon Bus to meet their favorite rock stars. Additionally, The Sing Me a Story Foundation connected the voices of young people from hospitals around the country with the voices and songwriting abilities of their favorite artists, including John Feldman of Goldfinger. Peter Milbery, president of Neutrik USA, Inc., reflected on the company's participation in the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus and the Warped Tour 2013. "The combined John Lennon / Warped Tour provides an exceptional opportunity for music enthusiasts of all ages to get a first-hand look at what it takes to compose, perform, and produce today's music," Milbery explained. "Exposure to the arts is essential to the long-term viability of every tour operator and equipment manufacturer because these activities serve as a vital link to the next generation of talent. It is well known that when students have a positive experience with equipment during their formative years, they are likely to maintain that brand association. As the leading provider of connectivity solutions to the music and sound industry, I believe our participation in this endeavor is extremely beneficial." "The Lennon Bus is honored to partner with Neutrik and share the mission of providing young students with the opportunity to learn about creating music and videos at no cost," said Brian Rothschild, executive director of the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus and John Lennon Songwriting Contest. "Neutrik is known for their quality and reliability and it's extremely exciting for us to be able to give young people the chance to have the fullest experience possible in the Lennon Bus studios."
