Russian Visual Artists Open First d3 Studio in Russia

Design group Russian Visual Artists has opened a d3 Studio in their offices. This dedicated d3 space is the first of its kind in Russia.

Founded in 2009 in Moscow, Russian Visual Artists (RVA) is a creative team of young talented designers, programmers, and artists. Today, RVA are one of the leading teams in Russia engaged in visual and multimedia arts. Actively implementing interactive solutions and latest technology in their projects, RVA explore various areas ranging from art installations and innovative stage space designs to monumental advertising solutions and lighting designs at cultural events.

RVA is the pioneers of video projection mapping techniques in theatrical productions in Russia, and the company says RVA has made their name as innovative media artists in Russia and abroad by participating in international festivals and events.

RVA projects include video mapping a dress from a Franck Sorbier collection at Paris Fashion Week 2012; projection mapping the iconic Moskva Hotel building on Manezhnaya Square and on the Moscow's Central House of Artists; light and projection design for the Zolotoi Petushok opera at The Bolshoi Theatre; exposition design of Department of Cultural Heritage of Moscow in Leipzig, Germany; interactive installations for exhibition stands of NTV-Plus and Gauss and for the Gillette Future Lab tour; the design of a TV studio for Russia's Channel 1 ("Pervyj"); video mapping for the finals of Qatar's popular TV show Stars of Science and many other large-scale commercial projects in Moscow and Dubai.

d3 is a fully integrated visual production system for video professionals, combining a real-time 3D stage visualizer, timeline, video playback engine, and projection mapping tools into one product. d3's unique integrated workflow assists the designer at all stages of the project, from pitch through development to final delivery.

d3 Technologies will be exhibiting at Prolight + Sound, running April 10-13 in Frankfurt, Germany, in hall 9, stand B35.
