Backup Pumpkin Challenge The Backup Pumpkin Challenge is back again and it's an excuse to unleash your creativity in aid of Backup! The Backup Pumpkin Challenge is a competition to help raise awareness of the Charity in a fun and creative way. Backup says participants can get involved as an individual, company, or team. All you need is a pumpkin, your design and any props or tech you want to incorporate to bring your design to life. Backup also kindly ask that users promote this competition on any of their social media channels. The Backup Pumpkin Challenge consists of 5x Categories 1. Best overall design (judged by panel)
2. Best use of tech (judged by panel)
3. Best Design by Future Creative* (judged by panel)
4. Most overall likes (on Instagram)
5. Cutest Fur Baby Pumpkin Pic** (most overall likes on Instagram) Due to competition being open to anyone and anywhere, Backup will not be giving away any big prizes, but will contact winners to send some Backup swag. All winners will be promoted on Backup's social media pages, marketing material, and industry press. Plus you get the prize of industry bragging rights! *Best Design by Future Creative criteria is any new professional to the industry, it is not age specific but aimed at those just starting out in the creative side of the industry. Short listed designs will be contacted to confirm they are a new creative professional, and will be asked for either a student ID/acceptance letter, a pledge from a current industry professional that you're in training, or short explanation of how you're attempting to enter the industry. The aim of this category to give our Future Creatives a chance to highlight their design skills, as we know this current climate is not giving you a the start in the industry you had hoped to have. **Cutest Fur Baby Pumpkin Pic Who doesn't love a dog or for that matter any pet in a theme! Last year, Lola, the spaniel puppy, made an appearance in 10 out of 10 Production's pumpkin design entry, and this gave Backup the idea for this year's new category. Of course, Backup must state that no pets must be put in any danger or harmed when creating your themed pic. Entry Details / Terms & Conditions *Minimum requirement is a pumpkin and your design
*Entry is free, though donations are always welcome - visit the Backup website if you wish to make a donation
*To enter your design upload a maximum of 3x photos and/or Video of which is no more than 15 seconds to Instagram
*Upload your entries onto your Instagram* using the hashtag #BackupPumpkinChallenge along with your name or team name -- If you don't do this we can't see your entry to judge.
*All entries must be posted on Instagram using #BackupPumpkinChallenge by October 31, 2020
*"Most Overall Likes" judging will take place at 9:00am on November 5, 2020
*"Best Overall Design," "Best Use of Tech" & "Best Design by Future Creator" will be deliberated by judging panel after October 31, 2020
*All winners to be announced on November 5, 2020
*Judges have final ruling on all entries
*Judging panel consists of a board member from Backup, ALD, and ASD
*Winners will be contacted by Backup on announcement date
