Winners Announced of LDI Awards The winners of the LDI Awards were announced at the LDI Show, held in at the Las Vegas Convention Center, November 19 - 21. PixMob was cited for its excellence in sustainability. Booth design awards went to GLP (small booth), Chauvet Professional (creative use of light), Pangolin (product presentation, and ACT Entertainment (large booth). ProCo's WIEMs, a wireless in-ear monitor system, took the award for best sound product. In the widget category, the.BRIDGE, by Just Networking, was the winner; the product allows one to control lighting via the Internet. Honorable mention went to the LK Connector range by Link and Propared, a live event management software. The Caprice folding acoustical shell tower, made by Staging Concepts, was the winner in the staging and rigging category. Cited as best projection product was Absen's MR Series LED floor, with honorable mention going to the XVVR media player from Theatrix. In the special effects category, the winner was BeamBrush Lasers, from Pangolin. Two lighting awards were given: NAtouch-1, by Nicolaudie, a control interface, and Alchemy 7, by DTS Illuminazione, an automated unit. Information about LDI 2022 has not yet been made public.
