PixMob Transforms Paris Games and Paralympics Fan Experience with its Immersive Lighting TechnologyPixMob helped transform the Paris Game and Paralympic fan experience adding a new dimension of audience participation. PixMob technology lit up 70,000 fans at the Stade de France for the Paris Game closing ceremony, where high-powered X4 LED wristbands were distributed to each person in attendance -- fans and athletes alike. With these bright LEDs, each person represented a pixel in a massive human-resolution TV screen onto which PixMob's Moving Visual Technology cast animated effects illustrating the long and epic history of the Games, from ancient chariot riders to a modern animation of the rings painted across the audience. The magic continued with the Paralympics closing ceremony, where PixMob's tech illuminated the crowd of over 60,000 fans. Credits for the ceremonies go to Leap Creative Studio and Hopscotch, with High Scream contributing to the creative aspects of the Para closing ceremony. PixMob's wearable technology was also featured throughout various games, including the 200m women's finals, 100m men's finals, and beach volleyball finals, as well as in key Paralympic events like the Wheelchair Basketball finals and Wheelchair Rugby. "We are unbelievably grateful to have worked with world-class teams to contribute to this mind-blowing show," says J-O Dalphond, partner and chief commercial officer, PixMob. "Pulling out all the stops with our Moving Visual Transmitters to transform the crowd into a video screen was the only way we could think to celebrate the world's best athletes. It was also the only way we could think to qualify for the Olympics", he adds. The PixMob Moving Visual Transmitter sets a new standard for how audiences engage with performances, the company says. Unlike traditional controllers that cast a single infrared beam, the MVT uses a moving head fixture casing with a redesigned interior to project multiple infrared commands simultaneously. Equipped with an integrated infrared camera, the MVT offers precise visualization and programming without the need for additional devices, enabling lighting designers to literally paint the audience with animated graphics and video content. PixMob's Moving Visual Transmitter technology transforms audiences into vibrant, interactive canvases, the company says. By seamlessly connecting fans to the action, the MVT allows for the projection of moving graphics onto crowds, turning the audience itself into a video screen that seamlessly blends with the design and storytelling of the event. "We look forward to seeing how the MVT will inspire creative directors and lighting designers to push the boundaries of what's possible in stadium shows," says Vincent Leclerc, co-founder and CEO of PixMob. "This technology truly revolutionizes how crowds experience live events, turning them into active participants rather than mere spectators."
