A.C.T Lighting Welcomes Ian Momii to Los Angeles-based Sales Team

Ian Momii has joined the A.C.T Lighting, Inc. sales team. He will cover the western US and will be based in the company's Los Angeles office.

"We're delighted to welcome Ian on board," says Brian Dowd, vice president of sales and marketing at A.C.T Lighting. "Ian has extensive lighting experience, including theater, clubs, and award shows, so he will undoubtedly enhance our western sales team."

Momii says, "I'm beyond excited to join A.C.T Lighting and represent not only the best products on the market but also an amazing service department. The whole team has been amazing and welcoming -- they've made the new guy feel right at home."

Momii comes to the company from PSAV where he spent two years as senior project manager for the LA area. Earlier, he spent five years with Swank Audio Visuals in the posts of technical coordinator, technical director, and area technical director. He also was lighting and sound designer for Delusion: The Blood Rite, the well-known live Halloween horror experience in LA.

A native of Texas, Momii studied lighting design at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches before moving to Austin and Los Angeles.

In his free time Momii enjoys hiking around LA, attempting to rock climb, cooking, photography, live music, and theater.
