ProSource Spring Meeting Highlights 2019 Key InitiativesProSource, a large audio, video, and integration buying group in the US, announced today highlights of its upcoming annual Spring Meeting to be held at the La Cantera Resort and Spa in San Antonio, Texas, from April 29 - May 3, 2019. The event will host PRO members for the first three days, with the Power members arriving mid-week for three days of the invitation-only event. The Spring Meeting agenda features a roster of guest speakers, educational workshops, networking, working group sessions, active product demonstration rooms, entertainment, and the opportunity for members to meet with key decision-makers from ProSource vendor partners one-on-one away from the bustle of industry trade shows. Ben Arnold, senior director of innovation and trends at the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) will address the PRO Principals/Buyers meeting as a guest speaker, preceded by a presentation from Mike Fasulo, president and COO, Sony Electronics. The Power members' agenda includes interactive sessions from Giles Sutton, senior vice president of Industry Engagement at CEDIA on Calibrate for the Correction; Ron Callis, Jr., CEO at One Firefly on marketing for strategic growth; Six Sigma Techniques presented by Jason Sayen, director of sales and business development at LK & Associates; updates on the lighting category led by educator, author, and lighting designer David K. Warfel; and powerful round-table topics moderated by industry experts. The Spring Meeting highlights the State of the Business address attended by both PRO and Power members, focusing on 2019 key initiatives, areas of growth, and the announcement of the annual Vendor Awards. Once again, ProSource will host a special evening featuring the annual charity fundraiser. This year the super-hero-themed event will challenge 20 teams competing to build the best LEGO creation in three categories: automotive, architecture, and aircraft. ProSource will make a generous donation to the Make-A-Wish organization on behalf of each category winner. "The focus of the Spring Meeting is to strengthen our members' businesses by providing strategic guidance from industry experts, market trends, and new category opportunities," says Dave Workman, CEO and president of ProSource. "The week is a satisfying mix of rich content and one-on-one conversations between members and vendors, providing actionable takeaways for each attendee."
