Lutefish Announces Donation at NAMM to Help Affected Los Angeles Musicians Los Angeles-area musicians can sign up for a free Lutefish Stream device at the 2025 National Association of Music Manufacturers (NAMM) conference to reconnect with bandmates and fans devastated by the recent wildfires. The Lutefish Stream is a technology that reduces latency, allowing musicians to practice, teach, and perform music from up to 500 miles away as if they were in person. Launched in November 2024, it reflects Wenger Corporation's commitment to advancing music technology innovation, the company says. "Music offers inspiration during some of life's most difficult moments," says Whitney Bauer Winkels, senior marketing communications manager at Lutefish. "The Los Angeles wildfires have devastated millions. Our goal is to help, even in a small way, by ensuring that musicians can stay connected with each other and their fans during this unimaginable time." The Lutefish Stream leverages 48K audio to achieve latency levels under 30 milliseconds. Each device includes 5GB of storage, wired headphones, a USB-C power supply and cable, and a 15' Ethernet cable. "For 78 years, Wenger Corporation has enriched lives through music and performance," says David Thomas, CEO of Wenger Corporation, Lutefish's parent company. "Wenger launched Lutefish to enable musicians to make more music and grow their communities. Now, more than ever, fostering community in the Los Angeles area is essential. We hope our support ensures those affected know they are not alone." Visit Lutefish during NAMM at Booth #8307 to learn more about how Lutefish is supporting the LA musician community.
