Robe at LDI 2024

Visit Robe at LDI, Booth #2258B.

Robe heads back to Las Vegas for the 2024 LDI show, where the company will be launching two new products, the T.5 Profile -- a smaller version of the T1 -- and the LedPOINTE, the new LED member of the Pointe family.

Also highlighted are four more new products seen for the first time at a US trade show -- the iFORTE Fresnel, the PAINTE Fresnel, the SVOPATT, and the SVB1.

Attendees will get to see Robe's new expo live show, The Fifth Dimension, which features three live performers, jaw-dropping action, and plenty of imagination.

Robe's other businesses -- architectural and LED lighting manufacturer Anolis, UK-based lighting console and media server manufacturer Avolites, Australian-based power distribution gurus LSC Control Systems, and lighting control and integration solutions specialist Artistic License -- will all be located on adjacent stand, Booth #2258B.

The LedPOINTE is effect packed, delivering a stand-out experience in LED Spot, Beam, Wash and FX technology.

Introducing the T.5 Profile - the latest member of the Robe T-Series, offering all the features loved by theatre and broadcast professionals in a more compact form. In response to high demand for a smaller version of the renowned T1 Profile, the T.5 Profile delivers the same top-tier performance, from advanced controls to its powerful, nuanced output.

The most powerful Fresnel Wash of the Robe iSeries, the IP65-rated iFORTE Fresnel delivers a beautiful soft beam with advanced beam control, designed for the harshest weather. It is available with a choice of two patented data-capturing IP65-rated TRANSFERABLE ENGINES offering all the advantages of quick and cost-effective replacement, and the ability to keep up with the constant LED development elongating the longevity and ROI of the luminaire.

The iSE-TE 1000W White XP (Xtra Performance) 6.700 K, 40.500 lumen (Integrating sphere) with CRI70 is for maximum output requirements, while the iSE-TE 1000W White HCF (High Colour Fidelity) 6.000 K, 27.540 lumen (Integrating sphere) offers a CRI of 96 for exceptional color rendition.

The iFORTE Fresnel features a CMY color mixing system. Two color wheels and a variable CTO of 3.000 - 6.700K offer all the tools needed to achieve everything from dense saturates to refined pastels.

The PAINTE Fresnel delivers a quiet, quality wash solution for short to medium-throw applications in theatrical, television, installation, live or corporate settings.

The PAINTE Fresnel color palettes are properly boundless using the advanced CMY color mixing system, a wheel with nine dichroic colors, variable CTO and Robe's ChromaTint patented plus / minus green.

These luminaires are designed for noise-sensitive environments with multiple fan controls and a choice of a TE 310W HP (High Performance) White LED engine for maximized output or TE 310W HCF (High Color Fidelity) engine for optimal color rendition with an inherent CRI of 96.

Robe's TRANSFERABLE ENGINE technology brings interchangeable task-specific solutions, enabling maintenance of light quality and consistency across rental inventories.

Robe has created a brand new original fixture in the SVOPATT -- and as with all Robe products, it's made in the Czech Republic.

SVOPATT transforms that unique original design into a cool contemporary housing with nine individual modules each containing seven by 40W RGBW multichips and the center pixel also containing a 200W white LED strobe.

An RLCT lens coating helps maintain high performance and protects against scratches and scuffs while preventing particle adhesion, ensuring optics stay cleaner for longer.

Multiple modes and protocols include Art-Net and sACN for easy pixel mapping; and there is a choice a choice of RGB or CMY color mixing modes; a variable CCT range; an onboard DataSwatch color library with 66 preset colors, and tungsten lamp emulation.

On top of that, the SVOPATT has a comprehensive color control set.

The SVB1 is a multifunctional effect, beam, and wash luminaire, a versatile, compact powerhouse in the new Robe SVOPATT family. It delivers high-output and extreme speed with continuous pan and tilt rotation.

With seven individual 40W RGBW LED cells plus a central pixel with both RGBW and a powerful 200W white strobe LED module, the SVB1 offers full pixel mapping for a variety of looks and effects.

The motorized zoom range offers precise 3.8-degree beams, up to expansive 50-degree washes, and the rapid speed and wide coverage are further enhanced by 360-degree continuous pan and rotation.

Color mixing modes can be RGB or CMY, there is a variable CCT range and an onboard DataSwatch color library with 66 preset colors, plus tungsten lamp emulation, and full color control.

As with the SVOPATT, Cpulse software offers flicker free operation and +/- green content control, so this luminaire is ideal for studio environments.

Many modes and protocols include Art-Net, while sACN ensures straightforward mapping and network communication is streamlined with REAP (Robe Ethernet Access Portal). An Epass Ethernet pass-through switch maintains connectivity even when the fixture is powered off.

The iBOLT is a unique, hugely bright fixture that is the first real replacement for conventional 7K xenon searchlights on the market. With the same feature set as Robe's MegaPointe, the iBOLT can be a beam, spot, wash, and effects luminaire for stage and outdoor use. It has a 300mm large front lens and has been described as "a MegaPointe on super-steroids!"

Iforte LTX WB is billed as the brightest fixture on the market and an ultimate long throw LED wash beam for all environments, the company says, developed for stadium shows, concerts and all events and spectaculars where serious intensity is needed over massive distances.

Powered by Robe's internally designed, developed, patented, and manufactured iSE-TE 1000W XP (Xtra Performance) IP65-rated White LED TRANSFERABLE ENGINE, this produces 355.000 Lux at 5m.

The iFORTE LTX FS is billed as the ultimate long throw, high output, all-environment LED WashBeam with an integral camera for use with the RoboSpot system, a luminaire capable of true, stadium-level reach.

The fixture redefines the boundaries of output, optical excellence, and performance while retaining the subtleties and nuances of theatrical precision, the iSERIES IP65-rated Robe iFORTEĀ® LTX FS is a truly next-generation WashBeam luminaire with an integral camera for live concert touring, indoors or out, the company says.

The iFORTE LTX FS has a full HD digital camera mounted on the head, with parCoat lens protection to ensure a clear picture even in inclement weather. The IP65-rated camera features 32 optical and 32 digital zoom and is suitable for low light levels down to 0.05 lux.

T32 Cyc Slim features Opti-6 - 6:1 height-to-distance ratio asymmetrical optical system, which produces a flat uniform field coverage even when in close proximity to the cyclorama.

Footsie1 and Footsie2 Slim -- two new variants of Robe's next generation low profile footlights reduce the footprint even more with a single cable tray. This IP65-rated LED footlight system can be used anywhere -- in theatres, on concert stages, and along catwalks and set pieces of all types.

The fixtures are available with Warm White (CRI 90+), Tuneable White or RGBW light sources, and are quick and simple to connect via 60 cm and 120 cm lengths plus a selection of available corner angles.

The SPREAD system helps remove side glare into the audience, and the self-contained single storage tray can conceal any loose power, audio, or data cables, removing this frequent trip hazard!

Full network capabilities are now available for Robe's popular RoboSpot remote follow spotting system enabling seamless integration with IP networks via RDMNet implementation in Robe products, taking remote device management to the next level. This advanced protocol standardizes the behavior and configuration over flat or routed network structures.

Anolis will showcase its new Agame color changing "window reveal" light together with a selection of fixtures from the Lyrae and Calumma families.

The latest additions to these ranges include the Calumma Urban with its street light optic, the Ambiane SP16 Wall Mount and the Eminiere MC Remote. The S and M sized Calumma Urban is available with customizable chip choices, and it has forward and side asymmetric optic variants for pole and wall mounting.

The Lyrae M SC is ideal for challenging inground installations with the high light output that comes from its powerful LEDs. A variety of optics are available, from narrow to wide, in addition to a bi-symmetrical option. The light source can be remotely tilted 25-degrees from the horizontal position, ensuring consistently accurate illumination of the surface. Additionally, Lyrae M SC can be fitted with anti-skid glass with the highest certification standards anti-slip usage without having impact on the outstanding color mixing.

Avolites' new D7-330 and D7-215 control consoles -- together with the latest Prism media software release -- make their US debut on Booth #2258 at the LDI Show this year where they will be available for demonstration.

This will be the US debut of the Diamond 7 (D7) console, the latest addition to Avo's Diamond collection of consoles.

Two variants -- D7-330 and D7-215 -- are billed as the ultimate travel and performance consoles -- packable into standard Peli Air cases for checking-in as hold luggage that can fly anywhere.

Other hardware available for demonstration includes Avo's flagship Diamond 9 lighting control console, with both D9-330 and D9-215 variants, along with the T3 and T3-W, the smallest footprint professional lighting control product, for applications where portability, compactness and performance are crucial.

Avolites' "Production Grade" Q-series media server range is highlighted with the Q3, demonstrating the outstanding Synergy feature set that unites lighting and video offering all creative programmers a super-streamlined workflow for all their visual elements.

LSC Control Systems is now represented in the US by Robe North America, which means that LSC will be addressing the US market for the first time in many years.

As part of the Robe experience, visitors to LDI will be able to get up-close with LSC's latest dimming and power management solutions.

Newly available to the US market will be LSC's UNITY, UNITOUR, APS and GENVI products, plus the new NEXEN range of Ethernet/DMX Gateways -- all with remote configuration via its HOUSTON X software. Company owner, founder, and CEO Gary Pritchard and senior product manager Richie Mickan will be there, and ready to demonstrate the products and answer questions.

LSC's international sales manager Pete Floyd comments, "Our groundbreaking technologies provide perfect solutions for US markets, and we're excited about this new opportunity working alongside our colleagues at Robe North America. We're delighted to welcome them to our ever-growing global distribution network!"
