Bandit Lites Adds Chauvet Professional Rogue R2 Beam for Garth Brooks Tour

Chauvet Professional's Rogue R2 Beam

Bandit Lites has built up a legendary reputation over 45 years. Garth Brooks has been on top of the music world for a quarter of a century. The new Rogue Series of moving fixtures doesn't have this history, but Chauvet Professional hopes it achieves success too. Bandit Lites has added Rogue R2 Beams to its inventory for the upcoming Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood tour. Emmy-nominated lighting designer David Butzler of Bandit Lites selected the fixture for his tour design.

"We are absolutely thrilled and honored by David's decision," said Albert Chauvet, president and CEO of Chauvet Lighting. "Everyone knows the reputation that Bandit Lites has established over the years for its dedication to excellence in every facet of this business. To have a relatively new series like Rogue selected by a company like Bandit for something as prestigious as the Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood tour is a validation of the vision our team had when we were spending all those long days, nights, weeks, and months developing the Rogue Series."

The Rogue R2 Beam, which was added to the Bandit Lites inventory, is an intensely powerful moving fixture that produces 133,200 lux at a 15m distance with its Osram Sirius 230W HRI lamp. As versatile as it is powerful, the tough tour-ready fixture provides seamless split colors and features an eight-facet rotating prism, variable speed color wheel, and 1-degree beam angle.

"We've been impressed with the Rogue R2 Beam," said Pete Heffernan, president of Bandit Lites. "Its output is undeniably at the level required of a touring fixture. Plus it's got a variety of impressive features and it's attractively priced. It's very compatible with our long-held commitment to providing our clients with performance and value."

The new Rogue fixtures added to the Bandit Lites inventory aren't likely to gather dust on the shelves after the Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood tour ends. "We expect to be using these fixtures quite often," said Heffernan. "We're excited to have them in our inventory."

For his part, Chauvet echoes this enthusiasm. "We're extremely proud to be associated with a company like Bandit Lites, an Emmy-nominated designer like David, and a tour of this magnitude," he said. "From the beginning, we believe we had engineered something very special with the Rogue R2 Beam, and this validates that belief. It is very gratifying."
