Clarity LX900 Previewed at LDI LSC Lighting Systems reports having had a busy and successful exhibition at LDI 2011 held recently in Orlando, Florida where the prototypes of two new models of the new Clarity LX console range were shown for the first time in the USA. Following on from the initial preview of the Clarity LX300 console at PLASA in London in September, on show at LDI for the first time anywhere in the world was the Clarity LX900 console. From the dual 17" touchscreen monitors, the 60 tactile group palette preset buttons, the seven 3.2" mini-touch screens, the fully motorized playback, crossfade and GM faders, and the 10.4" programming touch screen -- the LX900 provides fast access to every function, the company says. The Clarity LX range comprises three models, the LX300, LX600, and LX900 all with touch screens, multiple programmers, unlimited undo/redo, the proprietary FaderIdent for playback mode indication, media server integration, LED pixel mapping and innovative Rig Schematic patching, that allows importing of rig or venue images to overlay patched fixtures making your fixture selection both quick and easy. The Clarity LX range is planned to be released at Pro Light and Sound in Frankfurt in March 2012. Persons interested in getting an idea of the power of Clarity software are encouraged to download the free PC/Mac software from the LSC website.
