Kinesys Further Expands US Operation with Appointment of David BondUK motion control specialist Kinesys is continuing to expand its Kinesys USA Inc. operation by welcoming David Bond to the team in the role of head of sales for North America. Kinesys USA has received huge interest and many enquiries since being unveiled at the beginning of August, and bringing Bond to Kinesys is key to the company's planned medium-term expansion strategy. Bond will be leading the Kinesys USA sales department and traveling extensively to meet with and talk to customers throughout North America. He will be working closely with David Martin, based at the Kinesys USA Inc. headquarters in Atlanta, who will be focusing on the operations and training aspects of the company. Together they will continue to develop the company's US brand and expand its market coverage. Both Bond and Martin will also work closely with the relevant departments at Kinesys' global head office in London, UK. Bond has a broad experience base in the entertainment and music industry covering various aspects of the business. This ranges from international touring in technical and managerial roles to sales and services in the rigging industry in both the UK and North America. His touring career includes working with a long line of A-list artists and high-profile events. After managing numerous projects and rigging contracts in the majority of major UK venues through Star Events Group, he went on to form his own rigging sales and consulting company in Canada. Bond has been a contributing member of various rigging and safety standards organizations including the PLASA National Rigging Advisory Group (UK), the PLASA Rigging Work Group (US), the Event Safety Alliance rigging chapter, and more. "Kinesys has always been a reputable company with innovative products and ideas. The brand image and its safety reputation are the strongest in the business and touring crew specify Kinesys by name because it works for them," Bond states. He is already familiar with the product lines having worked closely with Kinesys on various projects and facilitating sales of Kinesys systems in the United States, so the natural progression was for Bond to become a full-time Kinesys team member. "The North American market has a specific requirement for the Kinesys range of products and I am keen to show the designers, operators, and suppliers what we offer. I want to focus 100% of my efforts into safe and responsible rigging control, as well as monitoring products that help to expand the capabilities of end-users."
