ADJ To Show Wireless DMX, Sharp Beam Fixtures, and Pixel Control Chase Effects at InfoComm 2013

From worry-free wireless DMX to sharp beam effects powered by the latest LED and Philips Platinum lamp technologies to an LED color bar with the added excitement of five-zone pixel control, ADJ continues to turn cutting-edge industry trends into products that are affordable, accessible and easy to use. The company says it will demonstrate this at booth #5859 of InfoComm 2013, held at the Orange County Convention Center June 12 - 14.

The WiFLY Wirless DMX Transceiver is an easy-to-use wireless DMX transmitter/receiver in one. When connected to a DMX controller, it allows users to control ADJ WiFLY-compatible fixtures wirelessly from distances up to 500'. Operating on a 2.4 GHZ frequency, the WiFLY was designed to co-exist in crowded RF environments alongside technologies like Bluetooth and WiFi for consistently reliable, interference-free wireless DMX control. It can support up to 16 DMX-512 universes. Compatible fixtures in ADJ's WiFLY Series include: WiFLY Bar QA5 linear LED fixture; WiFLY Bar RGBA 1-meter linear LED fixture; and WiFLY Par QA5 flat LED par wash fixture, all of which are lithium battery powered (no strings attached here, either). Also available is the WiFLY D6 Branch, a 6-way wireless DMX splitter/amplifier with a built-in WiFLY Transceiver.

As the latest addition to ADJ's popular Vizi Series intelligent moving heads, the Vizi Beam Hybrid 2R produces a razor-sharp beam with a tight 4-degree angle. The versatile unit can be operated either via 16-channel DMX or manually utilizing its own built-in programs. It comes equipped with eight gobos + spot, 14 colors + white (including UV, CTO & CTB), 3- and 8-facet prism effects, strobe/pulse, and 0 - 100% dimming. Its revolutionary Philips MSD Platinum 2R 100W 9000°K lamp boasts an output comparable to a 250W discharge fixture with a 10,000-hour life.

A compact intelligent moving head, the Inno Spot LED produces a bright hard-edge beam similar to a traditional halogen or discharge lamp, but because it's powered by an ultra-high-output 45W white LED source, it uses a fraction of the power (93W) and has a 50,000-hour lamp life. Measuring 9.75" x 8.25" x 11.25" and weighing 15lb, the Inno Spot LED can be easily set up by any size entertainer -- but it's certainly not "light" on features. It comes equipped with DMX capabilities (ten channels), exciting built-in light shows for use in Sound Active or Master-Slave modes, eight colors + white, six rotating gobos + spot, gobo scroll mode, gobo shake effect, three-facet prism, 0-100% dimming, strobe/pulse effect, and more.

An LED color strobe/wash bar with the added feature of five-zone pixel-control, the unique and versatile Pixel Pulse bar gives entertainers and designers numerous creative options. Powered by 15 three-watt Tri-Color (RGB) LEDs, it can be used as a color wash, color strobe, or as an eye-popping chase effect allowing users to highlight different colors in each of its five pixel-controlled zones for a dynamic energy-driven light show. Mountable either vertically or horizontally, the Pixel Pulse Bar offers full DMX control as well as exciting built-in programs for use in Sound Active mode.
