Lighthouse Showing VideoBlades, DuoLED, and 3D LED Video at LDI

Lighthouse is set to exhibit three new products at LDI 2011, October 28-30, Orlando, Florida: DuoLED, VideoBlades, and a new 4mm 3D LED video screen.

DuoLED is a lightweight mesh product with the advantages of transparency, ease of handling, and an extra benefit, the company says: As the name suggests, DuoLED is a dual mode product. It can be used as a mesh screen and, with the flick of a switch, transforms into a standard display panel. The second mode is achieved by a set of shutters that close behind the mesh and give the panels a solid appearance.

DuoLED is available in 12mm and 18mm pixel pitch versions, and is ideal for large format indoor or outdoor displays. For rental companies and multi-use facilities, DuoLED's capabilities eliminate the need to stock both mesh and standard panels, the company says.

VideoBlades 12 is a large-scale LED video display technology that straddles the worlds of video and lighting in the entertainment, events, and architectural markets, the company says.

VideoBlades provides a 12.5mm pixel pitch, modular LED video screen for indoor and outdoor uses, with a literal twist. VideoBlades comes in two formats, SkyRol and GroundRoll, which can be deployed by rolling up or down from its patented rotating structure, like a window shade. The modular format allows for the seamless formation of large-scale screens. SkyRoll deploys down from overhead and is available in 4m, 6m, and 8m widths and up to 10m screen heights. GroundRoll deploys up from the floor, resulting in the lowest possible rigged weight, and is available in sections 2m to 3m wide, up to 10m high. At last year's LDI, VideoBlades was selected as the best new video product. At LDI 2011, Lighthouse will display SkyRoll.

With rental partner Join Merit, Lighthouse will display a 4mm 3D LED display, which delivers ultra high resolution 3D images.
