Olivier Awards Nominations AnnouncedThe Olivier Awards nominations were announced February 29, 2016. The ceremony, the 40th anniversary of the Awards, will be held at London's Royal Opera House on April 3. Farinelli and the King, starring Mark Rylance, leads the design categories, with Jonathan Fensom nominated for both Best Costume Design and the Blue-i Theatre Technology Award for Best Set Design. Claire van Kampen's Musical Arrangements are also nominated for the Autograph Sound Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music, as well as the Musicians and Lestyn Davies and the Singers who alternated the singing role of Farinelli. The production is scheduled to come to Broadway in the fall.
