Elation Open House Draws 300A crowd of approximately 300 lighting designers, dealers, and other lighting professionals visited Elation Professional's world headquarters in Los Angeles, California, on July 18th to tour the company's new showroom and see some of its latest products perform in "realistic lighting environments." The new 4,000sq.-ft., state-of-the-art Elation showroom features replicas of a stage, broadcast studio, and other venues where professional lighting is widely used. Elation lights are showcased in these realistic settings, often as part of choreographed light shows. Contributing to the realism of the showroom setting was the trussing used from Elation's sister company Global Truss America. "We invested in the new showroom because we feel it's very important that lighting professionals see our lights perform in realistic settings in order to get a complete appreciation of their quality," said Eric Loader director of sales for Elation Professional. "You can hear that our Platinum Series produces an incredibly brilliant beam, but until you see it in a true-to-life setting you really can't appreciate how brilliant." Loader and the rest of the Elation team were "ecstatic" by the response to the open house. "The crowd and the enthusiasm exceeded our most optimistic expectations," he said. "It was great to see so many of our friends from the industry at our place. There was a great deal of enthusiasm shown for our Platinum Wash ZFX, ELAR Quad, Flex Pixel WP, and Platinum Beam 15R, as well as our Antari products like the F3 DMX Fazer and the Z-1020 horizontal fog machine with mirror pipe technology. The entire experience made us all feel very good about what Elation is accomplishing."
