Lucille Lortel Nominations AnnouncedThe nominations for the 33rd Lucille Lortel Awards, which celebrate achievement in New York's Off Broadway theatre, were announced April 4. KPOP and Mary Jane lead in the design categories with three nominations each. For KPOP, Gabriel Hainer Evansohn is nominated for scenic design; Tricia Barsamian for costume design; and Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew for lighting design. (She is also nominated for Outstanding Projection Design in Relevance). For Mary Jane, Laura Jellinek is nominated for Outstanding Scenic Design; Japhy Weideman for Outstanding Lighting Design; and Leah Gelpe for Outstanding Sound Design.
