Elation's Ultra-Compact ELAR Q1 Color-Changing PAR Goes AnywhereElation Professional's new ELAR Q1 is an ultra-compact, color-changing PAR light with outdoor IP65 rating that can be used just about anywhere dynamic color is required. Measuring less than 3.0" high (75mm) and weighting only 1.1lb (0.5kg), the ELAR Q1's small size allows it to hide virtually anywhere for use as a pixel source, pin spot, truss toner, accent or decorative light, and can even be used for landscape lighting. Whether mounted on its yoke or recessed into a stage, set or ceiling, its narrow 7-degree beam and single 18W RGBW LED source provide a surprisingly bright effect for direct viewing or illumination of objects. The ELAR Q1 delivers an output of 9,310 lux at 3.3' and consumes a low 18W of max power. Great for highlighting or enhancing set pieces, the RGBW LED is capable of emitting a wide palette of colors from saturates to more subtle pastels, making the ELAR Q1 an excellent color matching unit with other lights, scenery, and set pieces. The ELAR Q1 is controllable via four DMX channels (RGBW) with a direct DMX auto addressing option and is RDM (Remote Device Management) protocol capable. The luminaire operates flicker free for use in TV and other broadcast applications and can operate worldwide thanks to its auto-sensing power supply. Multiple units can be easily linked together and optional IP rated extension cables are available to support custom installation setups. A long LED life rating translates to years of reliable service with little maintenance for a low cost of ownership. The IP65-rated ELAR Q1 PSU power supply unit features a 24VDC multi-voltage universal power supply (100-240v 50/60Hz), eight-pin IP rated in/out cables, and can support up to 15 linked ELAR Q1 units each.
