Lighthouse Jumbovision, TS Sports to Provide LED Systems for Renovated TCU Football Stadium Texas Christian University has selected Lighthouse Jumbovision and TS Sports to provide LED video systems for Amon G. Carter Stadium, home of TCU Football. Part of a $105-million renovation project, Lighthouse and TS Sports will provide two giant IMPACT 16 LED video screens. Part of an overall design by Anthony James Partners, the main LED video display will measure over 55' across and stand over 30' high, while the auxiliary screen will measure 28' x 19'. The IMPACT 16, Lighthouse's outdoor LED video solution, utilizes the first outdoor SMD LED chip and features intelligent IM design for superior flatness, the company says. "The image quality and brightness of the Impact 16 are a step above anything else on the market for a similar price," says Ed Whitaker, Lighthouse Jumbovision N.A.S.A. director of sales. "For stadiums looking to provide their fans with a complete game day experience, the Impact 16 is tough to beat." Just like the TCU Horned Frogs football team. Recently but firmly established as a national power, the university's renovation of Amon G. Carter Stadium includes a new upper deck, 25 new luxury suites, and 2,200 new "club" seats. University officials believe it demonstrates the progress of TCU's football program. "Lighthouse is proud to be a part of TCU football," adds Whitaker. "TCU has great fans, and Lighthouse LED video is going to bring them even closer to their team."
