Stage Technologies Takes Platinum at ITEAC 2014The organizers of the International Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference (ITEAC) are delighted to announce that Stage Technologies is the major sponsor of the 2014 conference. Stage Technologies' continued support of the event by taking the principal platinum sponsorship role for the third consecutive conference, illustrates the reputation that ITEAC has established over the last 12 years. The launch of ITEAC 2014 recognizes the demand for this event, which seeks to investigate the developments that have already been made and the innovations that will be required in the ever-changing world of live entertainment. The quadrennial three-day event, which will take place from Sunday to Tuesday, June 8 - 10, 2014, brings together the world's leading theatre technicians, architects, engineers, consultants, acousticians, and production managers, plus theatre makers and venue managers. Traditionally, 50% of the ITEAC attendees have been from outside the UK: the USA, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Denmark are just a few of the markets that are continually represented at the conference. ITEAC 2014: The Future of Performance Spaces - The People, The Places, The Technologies will be based in the University of London's Senate House, and will examine the rapid changes taking place globally within all performances spaces driven by audience expectations, the availability of new technologies, and the demands now being made by innovative and more flexible programming. Presented by the Association of British Theatre Technicians (ABTT), ITEAC 2014 will be the fourth edition of the conference. Conceived by conference director Richard Brett in 2002, the event has grown from strength to strength, with Stage Technologies' involvement being recognized as having been integral to its success.
