RCI Systems Provides Yamaha CL for Pope in DCRCI Systems of Beltsville, Maryland, provided a Yamaha CL5 Digital Audio Console and two Rio3224-D input/output boxes positioned at two separate locations all on a redundant Dante network for Pope Francis mid-day prayer service at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington, D.C. "This project was unique to RCI Systems in that both integration and production played a role in the success of the event allowing for virtually no visible cables," states Robert J. Capotosto CTS, design team, RCI Systems. "Cathedral representatives were concerned about cable exposure during the event, and the solution was to install a permanent redundant Dante infrastructure a week in advance for the mid-day prayer service as well as for future events." RCI provided all audio feeds for press, house, and broadcast. "Our A1, Brad Chatterton and account executive, Bryan Ziegler, had many compliments on the quality of the broadcast mix."
