On July 15th, Intelligent Lighting Creations (ILC) brought together over 80 customers, vendors, and other industry professionals to support Behind the Scenes at their third annual charity golf outing. Guests participated in a round of 18 holes of golf, followed by a dinner reception with raffle prizes and a silent auction.

Many sponsors and donators came forward to help make this event successful. Sponsors included Martin by Harman (registration), Philips Vari-Lite (lunch at the turn), A.C.T Lighting (reception), Elation (closest to the pin), A.C. Lighting (longest drive), Vistage International (closest to the pin), Lake County Republican Federation (longest putt).

Hole sponsors included Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) and Larry Kargol and Brad Criswell, who were also generous enough to provide a keg at their sponsored hole for all of the outing's golfers. Donations were also given by TC Furlong, Tazmanian Freight Systems, William and Bonnie Zimmer, Floyd Dillman, Navigator Systems, DeKind Computer Consultants, Joby Benoit, and Mahoney Designs.

A silent auction and raffle were also present, as items such as the BTS Wrench (Apollo), The Morton Arboretum Day Passes, Studio X Passes (WXRT), iPad (DeKind Computer Consultants), Cubs tickets (Switchboard Apparatus), a weekend stay at Chula Vista Resort (General Engineering Company), and many more were so graciously donated.

"We are so thankful to have had this big of a turnout and support from clients, vendors, family, and friends. Throughout the year we support Behind the Scenes in as many ways as possible. It's a great charity and we will continue to raise support and awareness through our initiatives. Next year, we are hoping to raise more money to give to Behind the Scenes and have an even bigger turnout at our golf outing," said Alyssa Hoppensteadt, ILC's marketing specialist.

ILC's golf outing raised $7,500 for the Behind the Scenes charity. David Saltiel accepted the check on the charity's behalf.
