This Is It! StageWorks announces a new addition to the event experience, industry veteran Mike Aug joins the company as director of sales.

Prior to joining StageWorks, Aug served as VP of sales and marketing for Event Tech in Baltimore. With an extensive knowledge of the National Mall in Washington DC, and the regulations of the National Park Service, Aug is regularly asked to be production manager for events on the Mall and other NPS sites. Recent large scale event highlights include the HBO Concert for Valor attended by nearly 800,000 people; The 50th anniversary of the "I Have a Dream" speech; and the Girl Scouts Rock the Mall: 100th Anniversary Sing-Along.

In addition, the company says his vast knowledge of staging and rigging equipment has made Aug the "go-to" for all things structure related. This April, Aug will be back at the helm on the Mall with StageWorks, managing the event site and production elements for the Global Citizen 2015 Earth Day.
