Chief to Participate in Almo Professional A/V's E4 AV Event in D.C. on May 18Chief, a manufacturer of mounts, racks, and interactive solutions, is hitting the road to participate at the Almo Professional A/V E4 Tour, a training and networking event in Washington, D.C., on May 18. Attendees will have the chance to see the Chief Road Show, part of the company's continuous efforts to serve customers and help them improve their business. Chief's big yellow truck is on a journey across the nation to bring the latest product offerings and service solutions to AV partners this summer. On the road are the new interactive accessories, Thinstall swing arms, Raxxess series AV rack systems, short throw projector mounts, and Fusion flat panel mounting solutions. Da-Lite projection screens will also make an appearance at many of the stops. In addition to the products and service solutions, the road show team will be sponsoring a hot dog eating contest at E4 AV. In this dealers-only event, contestants will take on road show crew members Mike Moon and Scott Rohe as well as other dealers starting at 12:30pm. The winner will receive $20 per hot dog eaten, with the chance to raise that to $21 per hot dog if eaten with Chief yellow mustard. "Events like E4 AV are what the Chief Road Show is all about," said Laurie Englert, Chief's vice president of marketing. "Bringing our latest product solutions to the customer's doorstep has been a success, and being able to share that at E4 will be a blast!" "Having the Chief big yellow truck at the E4 AV Tour in Washington, D.C., in our exhibit hall is an incredible addition to the expo. Expect to see some great new solutions from Chief including their full size racks, which haven't been on display at the E4 previously. Attendees won't want to miss the fun and excitement of the hot dog eating contest, plus our big prize drawing at 2:30pm for over $5,000 in prizes," said Melody Craigmyle, vice president of marketing for Almo Professional A/V. The E4 D.C. event will take place on Friday, May 18, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center from 8am to 4:30pm and is entirely free, including parking, to Almo Pro A/V's reseller, integrator, and consultant partners.
