Bandit Lites Makes Elation Professional Gear PurchaseBandit Lites has spent the summer outfitting massive tours, record-breaking festivals and immense events, causing the world's foremost lighting company to once again add to its gear inventory with a sizeable purchase of Elation Professional fixtures, including DTW Blinders, Proton Eclyspe Strobes, Proteus Hybrids, Proteus Razor 760, Smarty Hybrids, and Chorus Line 8 fixtures. "Elation has fully embraced and invested in the demand for IP rated gear," says Jake Tickle, Bandit Lites director of technical services. "With the ultimate need to protect our investments, the Elation Proteus line and other IP offerings were a complete choice for Bandit." Lighting designer Benoit Richards is currently utilizing Chorus Line 8 fixtures, DTW Blinders, Proton Eclypse Strobes, Proteus Hybrids, and Proteus Razor 760's on his design for Rob Thomas's Chip Tooth Tour. "A standout favorite fixture for me is the Proteus Rayzor 760," says Tickle. "It is packed with a lot of horsepower and has some great tricks to add some hidden flare to any show." Bandit Lites also purchased a number of Elation Professional Smarty Hybrids, a compact spot, beam and wash fixture that wows audiences on both Travis Shirley's design for Rascal Flatts Summer Playlist Tour and Carter Fulgham's design for Shinedown's Attention Attention World Tour. "The Smarty hybrid is a well-constructed compact versatile fixture," says Tickle. "It has enough firepower to cut through in a large rig but enough finesse to stand alone in a small rig. I feel this fixture will serve our clients very well." "I have nothing but great things to say about Chuck Dillingham and Dustin Pesnell at Freed Sales," finishes Tickle. "Chuck is very attentive and always available. Bandit and Elation have always had a great relationship, thanks to Gines and his team for the ongoing support, and as always, thanks to the sales team, Eric Loader, John Dunn, and Gary Fallon, for ironing out every detail needed to complete the project." "I personally wish to thank Eric and his team for the great support and assistance they have always provided to Bandit," adds Bandit Lites chair Michael T. Strickland. "We have a long term relationship with Eric and team and look forward to many more years to come!"
