TMB and Company NA offer Technology and Hospitality at Prolight + Sound 2018

TMB and Company NA will once again partner this year at Prolight + Sound, in Frankfurt, bringing a blend of fellowship with innovative, high-performance technology. See the latest gear and enjoy the best hospitality throughout the show, plus enjoy the after-hours party at our combined stand, Hall 4.0, E30 and E36, Tuesday, April 10.

Now a tradition at select Messe Frankfurt shows, Solaris Flare IP HD outdoor LED fixtures -- the world's brightest -- can be seen lighting the Grandhotel Hessischer Hof, opposite the Messe main entrance, every night during the show. HD single-head and HR dual-head versions of Flare IP are available for a variety of architectural applications and can be seen up close at the show stand.

This year TMB proudly introduces the ProPlex IQ Tester, the first Ethernet tester for entertainment production. Inspired by input from the world's top production and staging professionals, the IQ Tester is a true "all-in-one" device, and a watershed addition to the ProPlex range of data distribution devices.

The hand-held IQ Tester's attributes include:
* "Wireshark" for analysis of any Ethernet protocol, plus network troubleshooting
* DMX receive/transmit + DMX timing analysis + DMX recorder + RDM controller
* Bidirectional Ethernet-DMX gateway
* "Smart" DMX cable tester
* PoE tester -- determine capabilities of any connected PoE source
* SMPTE Timecode, LTC receiver/analyzer, and LTC transmitter
*Update Solaris/ProPlex firmware without need of a PC

Several additional new products can be seen, including the new Flare Q+ Rayzr. Following on the spectacular success of the Flare and Flare LR fixtures, this new razor-thin Flare, with its patent-pending, 15-degree indexing PreSet yoke, offers famous Flare brightness, smoothness, performance, and control in a smart, super low-profile, "blade" format. Flexible mounting and joining options are available for scenery, truss, pipe, and floor. Vertically hang coupled units up to 5m in total length. Rayzr has both silent and super-bright modes, and is available in 50cm and 100cm lengths.

The new ProPlex DIN Rail FloppyDrives offer a complete, quality range of DMX control for LED tape and neon of all kinds, and the Digital FloppyDrive version provides RGB(W) "pixel" control for Digital FloppyFlex LED neon. A new Multiple Universe Digital FloppyDrive is yet another new addition to the range.

Also introduced at Frankfurt this year is the latest addition to the Solaris Mozart range of "perfect pixels." The new Mozart One is a decorative set-lighting fixture with a single RGBW pixel. A unique, wide-angle serrated concentric lens, plus 8-bit color dimming, and 1,200Hz flicker-free refresh rate makes this Solaris addition worthy of the name "Mozart."

First shown at Light + Building just last month, TMB's new FloppyTape range is a comprehensive selection of highest-quality, professional-grade LED tapes. Consistent and bright, with very high CRI values, the FloppyTape family includes a complete range of profiles and diffusion accessory options -- all good in stock. All this, backed up by TMB's renowned service and support, makes for a truly professional LED tape option.

Finally, a word about TMB's esteemed colleagues and product partners, Company NA. Manufacturers of both the Solaris fixture and ProPlex device ranges, Company NA has built on their extensive experience in show production and design to become one of the industry's highest quality, innovative manufacturers. The Solaris and ProPlex ranges comprise a selection of leading-edge, bright, powerful, LED fixtures and highly sophisticated data devices that are now used and accepted by top touring, TV, theatrical, and installation professionals worldwide. Based in Latvia, Company NA's research, development, and engineering staff have drawn upon over 30 years of real-world experience providing equipment, production and design services, to develop, in collaboration with TMB, and produce the fixtures and data devices that have become so popular with today's most discerning entertainment production and staging professionals.
