Creative Technology Upgrades Intercom and Audio Capabilities with Digital Solutions from Riedel CommunicationsCreative Technology (CT), as part of its newly formed intercom and RF department, has added Riedel Communications' Riedel Artist digital matrix and Performer digital party line intercom technologies to its communications inventory. Advantages of a digital matrix intercom system include high quality audio, dramatically increased flexibility, functionality, reliability, nearly infinite scalability, and the ability to interface a wide array of both digital and analog industry-standard intercom systems, the company says. "Going for a completely digital event communication solution is the next logical step for CT after many years of successfully deploying legacy analog comm systems of all sizes to meet customer specifications" said Chuck "Chopper" Boyle, CT senior intercom engineer. "CT selected Riedel to put at the core of its new digital intercom systems because of its multi-industry-wide acceptance coupled with exceptional support before, during, and after the sale. We consider Riedel to be more of a partner than a vendor. The integration of a matrix intercom system with digital party-line capabilities opens up a whole new set of possibilities to offer our customers -- especially regarding future expansion, as our recent purchase of Riedel's Rocknet illustrates." According to the company, in CT's industry sector, an intercom system such as Riedel's Artist product line would be deployed on larger events or where complex intercom specifications are required (e.g. multiple "master stations", IFB, point-to-point requirements, etc.). Recent examples of events that utilized the new systems include Auto Trader, Home Depot, Toyota Camry Launch, Sony E3 Press, Land Rover Evoque International Press Day, Blizzcon, and Riot Games World Championships.
