LUXEON A Recognized with Technical Innovation Award at LIGHTFAIR

LUXEON A from Philips Lumileds received the Technical Innovation Award at LightFair International. The award is given to the product that represents the best leap forward in lighting technology. The company's third and most recent product to be released this year incorporates two breakthroughs: Hot testing and Freedom From Binning.

The product is hot-tested and specified at a junction temperature of 85 degrees C, ensuring the LED's real-world operating conditions performance and simplifying the design process. A feature known as Freedom From Binning eliminates color bins, typically a burden on luminaire manufacturers. All LUXEON A emitters fall within a single three-step MacAdam Ellipse at 2700K and 3000K and deliver superior quality of light with color consistency from unit to unit that has never before been possible.

LUXEON A joins past winners of the Technical Innovation Award, LUXEON Rebel and LUXEON Rebel ES. LUXEON LEDs are widely known for their industry leading lumen maintenance, reliability, quality of light, and in application performance.
