Brompton Technology "Redefines LED Processing" at NAB Show 2025 Brompton Technology returns to NAB Show 2025 in Las Vegas. "From virtual production to high-end broadcast stages, Brompton's award-winning Tessera platform has set the standard for image fidelity and real-time control," says Cesar Caceres, product lead at Brompton Technology. "At NAB this year, the company builds on that legacy with a powerful combination of next-gen hardware, hands-on technology previews, and immersive demonstrations tailored to the needs of today's content creators." A highlight of Brompton's booth is the enclosed Demo Cave, a purpose-built space designed to showcase the company's most advanced Tessera software features including frame remapping, extended bit depth, dark time insertion, and the trademarked TrueLight. Side-by-side comparisons enable visitors to evaluate the difference these technologies make in real-world scenarios. With two LED screens arranged in an L-shape and a ceiling array of TrueLight-powered ROE RGBW panels, the setup provides a fully immersive environment to observe color accuracy, motion performance, and ambient light reflection in action. Other demonstrations will show how hidden markers can provide motion tracking and green screen cues without interfering with camera output, and how Tessera's Dark Magic feature maintain image integrity in low-brightness environments. In its booth, Brompton also hosts Foundry, a company which has a heritage of more than 25 years developing creative software for the media and entertainment industry. As part of a special collaboration, Dan Caffrey, product manager -- virtual production at Foundry, will demonstrate a new virtual production solution that bridges the gap between VP and VFX workflows. Booth neighbor ROE Visual, the founding diamond partner in Brompton's panel manufacturer partner program, features a large 4K LED presentation wall, comprising ROE BP2v2 panels powered by Brompton's 4K Tessera SX40 LED processor. This wall will display creative content throughout the show and serve as the backdrop for a series of panel discussions with industry partners such as Synapse Virtual Production, Foundry, The Garage, Assimilate, and Unilumin. These sessions, held daily, will explore innovations and best practices in LED workflows for broadcast, live events, and virtual production. Visitors to the booth can also see a live tech demo of the new Tessera SQ200 Ultimate, the flagship processor in Brompton's upcoming Gen 3 range. The demonstration will feature an end-to-end ST 2110 workflow, with a real-time video feed processed by the Tessera SQ200, routed through Brompton's new QD-S (100G to 10G) and XD-S (10G to 1G) data distribution units. Building on the award-winning 4K Tessera SX40, the 8K SQ200 Ultimate delivers 20 times more processing power, full support for ST 2110 and IPMX, and complete backward compatibility with existing Brompton receiver cards and infrastructure. With its built-in preview display and support for multiple swappable input cards (HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, 12G-SDI), the Tessera SQ200 simplifies on-set operations while future-proofing LED infrastructure, the company says. In addition to the hardware demo, Brompton will unveil its new intuitive graphical user interface for managing AV over IP and multi-stream video input, designed to simplify both IP-based and 4x4K workflows. This software preview showcases how users can define, route, and visualise multiple streams, whether from IP or baseband sources, and convert them into flexible virtual feeds across the canvas, using an innovative UI design with registered design rights and patents pending. According to Caceres, the new interface is not just a backend tool for engineers, but "a visual, intuitive layer" that enables real-time stream monitoring, quick issue identification, and direct workflow control, making a complex technology like ST 2110 feel accessible and powerful in practice. "We're delighted to be back at NAB to meet with our customers and industry partners," concludes Caceres. "It's a fantastic opportunity to showcase the trusted LED processing solutions our users rely on every day, while also offering an exciting preview of the power and flexibility our new Gen 3 platform brings for the future."
