Kinesys Names Cristiano Giavedoni Marketing/Business Director

The expansion plans of the UK-based motion control company Kinesys continue to unfold with the news it has hired Cristiano Giavedoni as marketing and business director.

Dave Weatherhead, managing director at Kinesys says, "In 2011, we started Phase 1 of our consolidation and growth strategy by tripling the floor space that we occupy and by creating a brand-new training and education zone in our new building. This allowed us to provide an enlarged support and training center for both our customers and end-users alike. Now, in 2012, Phase 2 of our strategy sees us increasing our staffing levels to where we have all the resources in place to continue our growth.

"I am delighted to be able to welcome Cristiano on board with Kinesys; his skills and knowledge, along with his vision and insight into the industry, align perfectly with our own. Cristiano's energy and passion for the industry is fantastic and I know that will come across in every aspect of his work here at Kinesys."

Giavedoni has previously provided business consulting services to Columbus McKinnon; prior to that, he was the product manager for rigging equipment at the Italian firm Litec. He says, "I am delighted to be joining the team at Kinesys, I have always admired the products they have created and their approach to customers in general and I am very excited to be involved in their future development."

Kinesys will exhibi its product range, including some new additions, on Stand 2-Q4 at the PLASA 2012 trade show at Earls Court, London, from September 9-12.
