Version 2.1.0 Software for Martin P3 System Controllers

Martin Professional has recently made available Version 2.1.0 software for the award-winning family of P3 system controllers for LED screens. Compatible with the Martin P3-100, P3-200, and P3-PC system controllers, the free-of-charge software includes a host of new features and improvements.

One of the key new software features is CAD mapping background, an extremely ergonomic feature that makes P3 system controllers even easier to use. CAD mapping background allows users to import a CAD drawing (stage, building, etc.) and then map LED video panels directly onto the drawing without the need to measure distances or angles.

Another key new feature is a Kinesys K2 motion control interface. By linking a P3 system controller to a Kinesys K2 motion control system, real-world movement and/or rotation of panels can be tracked in real time by the P3 system controller. This enables direct panel position and rotation compensation in real time without operator intervention. The Kinesys K2 motion control interface can be combined in a setup with DMX in which a Kinesys K2 controls panel positioning and angles and a DMX lighting desk controls panel brightness, color temperature, etc.
