Fitz Celebrates the Class of 2020 with Telefunken Fitz and The Tantrums celebrated the graduating Class of 2020 with their lead singer performing on Good Morning America in a nationwide Zoom gathering broadcast from ABC in Times Square. Live from Los Angeles, Fitz rendered a solo acoustic version of the band's current hit single, "I Just Wanna Shine." Before his moving performance, Fitz said, "To the graduating Class of 2020, I know this isn't how you envisioned it would be, but you guys have all worked so hard to pursue your dreams. In your big, beautiful lives, this moment in history is going to make you guys smarter, stronger, wiser, and the kind of people our country and our world needs to lead us into the future. We're here to celebrate you guys and all the hard work you've done." Indie pop and neo-soul band Fitz and the Tantrums released their debut studio album, Pickin' Up the Pieces in 2010 to critical acclaim and reached #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The band signed to their current label Elektra Records and went on to release their second LP, More Than Just a Dream, in 2013. Their self-titled third album was released in 2016, containing one of their most notable songs "HandClap." Their fourth studio album, All The Feels, yielded their current hit, "I Just Wanna Shine", which Fitz performed for the Class of 2020. Telefunken microphones have played a role in the continuing history of Fitz and The Tantrums since the band's inception. "We're thankful for all the support from Telefunken," commented Aaron Glas, Fitz and the Tantrums long-time front-of-house engineer and tour manager, "and I'm glad we had our M81 with us for this momentous occasion."
