Apex Sound & Light Selects Arcofab's Channel Truss for LED Screen Rigging

Apex Sound & Light, a provider of customized sound, light, stage, and video solutions across Canada and the US, and Arcofab, a North American manufacturer of trusses, support systems, and motorization solutions for the entertainment and event industries, announces that Apex Sound & Light has selected Arcofab as its preferred supplier for trusses.

Arcofab's 1616 medium-duty spigoted Channel Truss is very useful for cable management; however, used upside down, it facilitates the balanced and centralized hanging of LED screens, providing safer and cleaner-looking screen rigging -- according to the company, while saving on costs due to its easy installation.

Arcofab was originally commissioned to produce trusses for Apex Sound & Light so that they could provide clients, such as Blue Rodeo and Deadmau5, with the supporting hardware they needed to present spectacular visuals during their shows. Apex Sound & Light has since added more Arcofab trusses to their stock and plan to change all their trusses over to the versatile channel truss.

"Apex Sound & Light chose Arcofab's channel truss because of its inherent benefits of the product's central load-bearing chord, which is ideal for reliably rigging valuable LED screens," said Graham Northam, president of Apex Sound & Light. "Arcofab's truss was the only model in our stock that could support the weight over the required span in some of the venues. We look forward to working with Arcofab on future projects."

"Arcofab is pleased that Apex Sound & Light recognized the value that our channel truss brings to this type of high level production," said Bernard Thériault, CEO of Arcofab. "Event producers need peace of mind knowing that precious equipment, such as LED screens, is safeguarded -- not only just during rigging process but also during the event itself. The channel truss delivers, both in rigging efficiency and safety."
